New Ideas

Possibly a change in plan, we'll see. 

 So here's a picture of what we were planning to do (minus the groom's tie color). I think I still like it, I'm just not sure about the orange dresses.

 So pretend like the men in this picture are wearing grey suits instead of khaki. I like the idea of the bridesmaids wearing navy dresses and having orange flowers, I know Corey wants the groomsmen and him to wear charcoal grey so I like the idea of that with either all of them wearing orange ties or the groomsmen wearing navy ties and Corey wearing an orange tie. If the groomsmen wore navy ties, they could have orange boutonnieres and then Corey could have an orange tie and an ivy boutonniere. 

 I also like the idea of having some green in the bouquets, not that much but I think it adds something to the flowers.

 Here's an example of the grey with the orange :) This is what Corey wants to wear, but I don't think he wants to a vest. Either way I think it looks great! :) I love it.

 I absolutely love these pictures! I love the dresses and I love the flowers. I just hope that Corey loves it too! I still think it will look great with the grey suits and the orange ties.

We have a date!!!

Lots of new things have happened over the last week or so! Many things to write about!

AUGUST 5, 2012!!!

Corey and I are getting married August 5, 2012! Today we settled on a date and a venue! We'll be getting married at Postlewait Country Farm in Canby, Oregon. Here are a few pictures.  

Second, we settled on colors. Officially we are having orange, pink, and yellow :)

And we bought our invitations today. It was kinda spontaneous but we found ones we liked for an excellent deal! 

Update: Starting to Plan

Corey and I have begun a little bit of planning. Not much yet because I still need to establish a budget, but we've started talking about colors. I don't think we've come to an agreement yet, but we have a few ideas.

Corey likes Orange... so here are a few examples.

 

 

Corey likes how the orange looks with the black suit. I kinda like it too. Corey wants his guys to wear black with an orange tie, maybe with white stripes. Not really sure how I feel about the orange, but he really likes it so we're going to try to make it work I think.

This is my favorite orange and yellow bouquet of flowers. I love how the white makes the bouquet softer than just the orange and yellow. 

This is kinda pretty. I'm just not sure how I like orange as the main color. It might be a bit too much for me.

If I were to have the bridesmaids wear orange, these next two are similar to the shade of orange I like.

I really like this. I'll have to show Corey. We could have the guys wear that shade of orange tie and then have other options for the girls. Not really sure yet, we still need to talk more about it.

Colors

As Corey and I aren't talking about wedding plans until I graduate (super hard I know), I decided I might as well start thinking about what colors I like. That way when we get together I can see what he likes and dislikes. I'm pretty open about colors so it'll be good to have his help :) For now, these are some of my favorite color combos I've come across. I found these inspiration boards on google. If anyone reads this... (Laura and Dad and Mom), you should let me know what you think!
