Engagement Photos Today!

We had our engagement photos today with Lianne and Jordan of Joli Photographie at Memorial Park in Wilsonville. It was cloudy and a little rainy, but Corey and I had a great time and I'm excited to get the photos later this week!!!

Also on our way home we made an appointment with Lamb's Bakery to sample cakes! Super excited about that! We get to sample 6 different combinations of cake and frosting!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOM!!!

Postlewait's Weddings

Thought I'd post some photos of weddings at Postlewait's that I like. Just get some good ideas for decoration and for some photos I might ask Li and Jordan to take. :)

I really like some of these photos from this wedding at Postlewaits, photos by La Coursiere Photography. I especially love the ones under the outdoor chandelier, about 2/3 of the way down the scroll bar. :)

These are great too, but Aaron Courter Photography. Also at Postlewaits. I think it's cool that they had the ceremony in front of the, well I don't know what you call it, but the wood thing with the flowers. There is a photo about 1/3 of the way down the scroll bar.

There was one site I looked at, I like that they took a picture of the wedding party along side of the green barn. I wouldn't want all the photos there, but it was a cool addition. I also liked that they took a picture of the bride sitting on the wooden fence with the groom nearby. It's one of the last pictures, photos by Laura Elle Images.

These photos are all from Jenny Hill Photography. I love the way the lights are set up and I really like the chalk board. The little boy is just super cute. And I think that it's cool that they got married in the field area. Very beautiful!

Here are some photos of a wedding at Postlewait's I found at http://blog.fsweddings.com/?p=1298#more-1298. Just thought it was fun and cute.

These next two are absolutely gorgeous, both the bride and groom went to SPU with me although I didn't know either of them well. I didn't even know that they got married at Postlewait's until recently. Love this though!! From Bryan Rupp Photography.

These photos are by Allison Van Zanten Photography, and were also feature on StyleMePretty. The photo in the middle is not at Postlewait's but at a flower farm nearby.

There are tons of others that I love, but I need to get to the homework. I might post more wedding photos I like later.

Engagement Photos

We picked a photographer a week or so ago, and now we have engagement photos planned for next Sunday morning. I'm excited to get them done so we can hopefully send out some save the dates. I can be so indecisive though! I'm having a hard time deciding what we should wear. Corey is so sweet, he is pretty much letting me pick, but I can't decide. To start, here are some engagement photos of other people I really like.

I actually go to school with Roland and Annie, but I really like this photo of them. :)

I can't remember where I found these next two photos but I really like the outfits the people are wearing. Although I don't think I could pull off a dress like this one, it's fun and super cute on her.

Now here are some of the outfits that Corey and I are thinking about wearing.
I'd wear darkish brown leggings and brown boots.
Not sure about the dress though.
I really like the plain gray shirt on Cor.

<-- I think I like this combo, I'm just not sure if it's enough color for him. I have no idea about these things though.

I love this combo, but I'm not sure if they are equally dressy. Equal enough I guess. :) I like it. -->
I very poorly pasted this together, I didn't realize that they kinda go together. I'm also kinda curious about Corey in this shirt with me in the funky dress...

We Picked a Photographer

I have been agonizing about picking a photographer for the last 10 weeks! I love pictures. I take photos all the time and it's so important to me to have great photos of my wedding. So I really wanted to make sure we had a photographer that not only had a lot of experience, high quality equipment, and took stunning photos, but that we felt comfortable with and had a great personality. It's tricky though, because wedding photographers can be so expensive! I narrowed it down to 3, but it was so hard to pick. All three took beautiful photos! Corey helped me decide what was most important, but he let me make the decision. I'm so excited that Lianna and Jordan of Joli Photographie will be taking our wedding pictures! They are an awesome husband and wife team, passionate about photography. I met with Lianne a few weeks ago and I just got so excited about our wedding just talking to her about it. Their photos are gorgeous! Here are a few from their website:

Also, Corey and I picked up his ring from the Shane Company a few weeks ago! Very exciting. We don't have all the details figured out, but I think we have the basics. We have our rings, someone to marry us (John Garrick), a place to get married, a bridal party, my dress, and we're in the process of booking our photographer. Oh I guess we have invitations and some lights too. Just need to work on stuff like food, cake, clothes for Corey and the bridal party, a DJ, decorations... all that jazz. Less than 10 months! We've been working on the guest list today! Tough work! We'd love to be able to invite everyone! I've been so busy with school and Corey with school and work that we haven't had much time to work on anything lately.
